CC-MEMACs Deployed

First I'd like to let you know that I am against war, as every normal human being until he finds interest in it. However we must admit that there is a certain kind of beauty in the tools of war. They represent elemental strenght and power, their beauty is in their function.
I wanted to make this picture for a long time, and now it's finally ready.
The concept is based on recent military experiments. CC-MEMAC is an acronym of Computer Coordinated Mobile Electro-Magnetic Artillery Cannon. It uses small bullets instead of warheads. The bullets are accelerated by strong magnetic fields. They can achieve an incredible 40.000 KM/H speed, so they don't need explosives, their impact is devastating. The muzzle fire you see on the picture is the sideeffect of the friction between the bullet and the barrel.
